“She read books as one would breathe air, to fill up and live” – Annie Dillard
If you’re looking for something good to read or wondering which books to avoid then check out my Book Reviews for the latest bestsellers or head over to Instagram where I post most of my current book reviews – Check out @bookwordbound. I often receive books from both Penguin Random House and Jonathan Ball for review so you know you’re getting the most current books on this bookshelf!
If that quote above resonates with you then you are my people! Reading has always been so much more to me than a hobby. It is a part of me and without books I would not be complete. Reading feeds my imagination and is the best form of escapism. As soon as I could read the library became one of my favourite places to visit, it still is. The endless possibility hiding behind those colourful spines would taunt me and choosing 6-8 books was always a pleasurable torture.
Once my girls arrived it became much more difficult to stay up until the early hours of the morning with a good book. It is only now that they are a bit older and going to bed at a decent hour that I am finding my joy again. My husband gifted me with a Kindle for Christmas and it is possibly the best present I have ever received. Bring on ALL THE BOOKS!
Happy reading!
Nadia
